Hire St. Mark's Church Hall

We're pleased that use of the hall is another step closer to reaching normality following the latest relaxations to COVID regulations.  All groups are able to meet in the hall and we are able to take occasional bookings too, including for children's parties.  Please contact us if you wish to make a booking.

In the interests of everyone's safety, particularly those who are more vulnerable, we continue to ask all our users to wash or sanitise their hands frequently and to wear face coverings where practicable and appropriate to the activity and size of group that you are in.  Group leaders are also asked to make sure that touch points and any tables, chairs etc used are cleaned before and after session times.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Features: large hall; basic kitchen with service hatch; disabled toilet; baby change facility; children’s toilets; access to substantial grounds and on-site car parking.

Our hall is ideal for a wide range of events, groups and activities.  We have capacity for regular groups as well as occasional hires.

We take health and safety very seriously.  Hirers are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and their guests when using our hall and should carry out their own risk assessment tailored to their needs.  Please refer to our General, Fire and Covid risk assessments below, which give a comprehensive review of risks, the measures we have in place and what we expect of you as a minimum, to help and guide you.

THANK YOU for your amazing entries to our comp.  The architect who reviewed the entries was really impressed with the creativity shown.  Our winners really thought out of the box!

JOSEPH (3-6 yrs group) used collage to turn the building into the 'hallosaurus' - like a big, colourful dinosaur with big 'hug hands', spikes for jumping on, springy feet and a huge tail for climbing up.  Hull Fair needs something like this!

LUKE (7-10 yrs group) transformed the roof by adding a giant eco-friendly tower with solar panels, a wind turbine and electricity conductors.  Really ingenious - imagine our hall powering everyone's houses for miles around!

WELL DONE done to you both - we hope you enjoy your prizes!

Our new frontage was completed spring 2019, greatly improving the hall's appearance and comfort in the inside rooms. The scheme was supported by a number of generous donors.

We are currently fundraising to enable a similar treatment to the rear gable wall, and to renew the roof, as the next phase of our hall refurbishment plan.
