Daily Bible reading

Resources

God has provided us with a variety of "means of grace" - channels through which his grace flows to us - and given that the Bible is his assured and certain Word to us, Daily Bible reading is one of the most important.
Perhaps you haven't yet got into the habit of reading the Bible by yourself each day.
The main thing is to do a little bit and often. Even if it's just 5 minutes a day, that's brilliant. Choose a time (ideally the same time every day, to help develop a habit); find a resource (of which more below); and get started! If you don't get on with the resource you've chosen find something else that works for you. And if you miss a day - don't feel guilty about it but just carry on. [If you're using dated notes, don't feel you have to catch up with all the days you've missed!]As I say, below I list some resources that have been recommended to me. But I'm hopeful that this email can start a conversation about daily Bible reading. Do be in touch with each other with suggestions, ideas etc. You could do this by phone, whatsapp, email, or Facebook.
So here are a few suggestions. As I say, try something, and if it doesn't work then try something else!
